Pfizer is recalling just under a million packets of birth control pills in the US because they may not contain enough contraceptive to prevent pregnancy.

“An investigation by Pfizer found that some blister packs may contain an inexact count of inert or active ingredient- tablets and that the tablets may be out of sequence,” the company said in a statement. That could cause women to take an incorrect daily dosage and increase the risk of accidental pregnancy.

And I’ll just go ahead and put this out there: Pfizer does not have a PR problem. They have “getting women preggers on accident” problem.
